وَلَهُ عِنْدَ أَبِي يَعْلَى وَالْبَزَّارِ : كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَآتِي عَشِيرَتِي فَأَقُولُ لَهُمْ : قُومُوا فَصَّلُوا ، فَقَدْ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Abu Ya'la and al-Bazzar recorded this report on his authority: He narrates: I used to pray behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then I would come to my family and say to them: "Get up and offer the prayer! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has already prayed."
