Majma al-Zawaid 17090 — Requesting supplication when travelling

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you is about to set out on a journey, let him greet his brothers with salam, for they will only add good for him through their supplications alongside his own supplication."
Abu Ya'la recorded it from his teacher Amr bin al-Husayn, who is matruk (abandoned).
