Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17074

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep these bodies pure, and Allah Almighty will keep you pure. For no servant spends the night in a state of ablution (wudu) except that an angel spends the night with him under his covering; whatever hour of the night that person stirs, the angel says: 'O Allah, forgive this servant of Yours, for he has spent the night in a state of ablution.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
