Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites this verse at night:
"So whoever hopes (that is, is certain) to meet his Lord, let him do righteous deeds and not associate anyone in the worship of his Lord." [Al-Kahf: 110]
(The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) for that person there will be a light from Aden Abyan to Makkah, filled with angels."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Abu Qurrah al-Asadi, from whom no one other than al-Nadr bin Shumayl narrated; the narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
