Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17013

Imam al-Sha'bi narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Whoever recites 10 verses of Surah al-Baqarah in a house, no devil will enter that house that night until morning: four verses from its beginning, Ayat al-Kursi, the two verses after it, and its closing verses."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except that Imam al-Sha'bi did not hear from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
