Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Allahumma inni ushhiduka, wa ushhidu mala'ikataka, wa hamalata 'arshika, was-samawati wa man fihinna, wal-aradina wa man fihinna, wa ushhidu jami'a khalqika bi-annaka antallahu, la ilaha illa anta, wa ukaffiru man aba dhalika minal-awwalina wal-akhirina, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduka wa rasuluka' (O Allah, I make You my witness, and I make Your angels, the bearers of Your Throne, the heavens and whoever is in them (that is, all creation), and the earths and whoever is in them (that is, all creation) my witnesses; and I make all Your creation my witness that You are Allah; there is no deity except You; and whoever among the earlier and later people rejects this, I declare him a disbeliever; and I testify that Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is Your servant and Your Messenger).
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites these words once, Allah Almighty will free one third of his being from Hell; whoever recites these words twice, Allah Almighty will free two thirds of his being from Hell; and whoever recites these words three times will be freed from Hell."
Tabarani recorded it with two chains; in one of the two chains there is a narrator, Ahmad bin Ishaq al-Sufi, whom I do not know; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
