عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَتَى عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُمْ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ ، فَقَالُوا : كُنَّا نَذْكُرُ مَا كُنَّا فِيهِ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَمَا هَدَانَا اللَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - وَمَا كُنَّا فِيهِ مِنَ الضَّلَالَةِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَحْسَنْتُمْ " وَأَعْجَبَهُ " هَكَذَا كُونُوا ، وَهَكَذَا فَافْعَلُوا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to his Companions while they were talking among themselves. They said: "We were recalling the condition we were in during the Days of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah), and how Allah Almighty guided us, whereas before we were in misguidance." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have done well." The narrator says: This pleased the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "Remain like this! Do like this!"
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Mubarak bin Fadalah, who has been declared trustworthy, while more than one declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
