بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " قَالَ اللَّهُ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - : يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ ، إِذَا ذَكَرْتَنِي خَالِيًا ذَكَرْتُكَ خَالِيًا ، وَإِذَا ذَكَرْتَنِي فِي مَلَأٍ ذَكَرْتُكَ فِي مَلَأٍ خَيْرٍ مِنَ الَّذِينَ تَذْكُرُنِي فِيهِمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ بِشْرِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty says: 'O son of Adam, when you remember Me in private, I remember you in private; and when you remember Me in a gathering, I remember you in a gathering better than those among whom you remember Me.'"
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Bishr bin Mu'adh al-Aqadi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
