بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِ الْجِبَالِ وَالْأَنْهَارِ .

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَرْبَعَةُ أَجْبَالٍ مِنْ أَجْبَالِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَأَرْبَعَةُ أَنْهَارٍ مِنْ أَنْهَارِ الْجَنَّةِ . فَأَمَّا الْأَجْبَالُ : فَالطُّورُ ، وَلُبْنَانُ ، وَطُورُ سِينَا ، وَطُورُ زَيْتَا . وَالْأَنْهَارُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ : النِّيلُ ، وَالْفُرَاتُ ، وَسَيْحَانُ ، وَجَيْحَانُ " .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُهُ فِي الْأَنْهَارِ فِي الصَّحِيحِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ أَحَادِيثُ فِي فَضْلِ الْجِبَالِ وَالْأَنْهَارِ فِي فَضْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُهُ فِي الْأَنْهَارِ فِي الصَّحِيحِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ أَحَادِيثُ فِي فَضْلِ الْجِبَالِ وَالْأَنْهَارِ فِي فَضْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
"Four mountains are among the mountains of Paradise, and four rivers are among the rivers of Paradise. As for the mountains, they are al-Tur, Lebanon, Tur Sina and Tur Zayta; and as for the rivers of Paradise, they are the Nile, the Euphrates, Sayhan and Jayhan."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith about the rivers is in the Sahih.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains narrators whom I do not know.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Hadiths about the virtue of the mountains and rivers have already passed in the chapter on the virtue of Madinah.
