وَعَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّكُمْ أُمَّةٌ مَرْحُومَةٌ ، مُعَافَاةٌ ; فَاسْتَقِيمُوا وَخُذُوا طَاقَةَ الْأَمْرِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are an Ummah shown mercy, one that has been pardoned; so remain upright and hold to what is within your capacity in the matter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abd al-Wahhab bin al-Dahhak, who is a kadhdhab (liar).
