وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْيَمَانِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَوْ أَقْسَمْتُ لَبَرَرْتُ ، لَا تَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ سَابِقِ أُمَّتِي " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةُ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَلَكِنَّهُ مُدَلِّسٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abd al-Yamani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I were to swear an oath, I would be true in it: that no one will enter Paradise before my Ummah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Baqiyyah, who is thiqah (trustworthy), but he is a mudallis.
