وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ ، لَا يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَمْ آخِرُهُ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَسَنَدُ الْبَزَّارِ حَسَنٌ . وَقَالَ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِإِسْنَادٍ أَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of my Ummah is like rain: it is not known whether its first part is better, or its last part."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; the chain of al-Bazzar is hasan (good). He (al-Bazzar) said: It has not been narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a better chain than this.
