وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " طُوبَى لِمَنْ أَدْرَكَنِي وَآمَنَ بِي وَصَدَقَنِي ، وَطُوبَى لِمَنْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْنِي وَآمَنَ بِي وَصَدَّقَنِي ، وَطُوبَى لِمَنْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْنِي وَآمَنَ بِي وَصَدَّقَنِي " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْأَسَدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مُجْمَعٌ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glad tidings (tuba) to the one who lives in my time, believes in me and affirms me; and glad tidings also to the one who does not live in my time, yet believes in me and affirms me; and more glad tidings to the one who does not live in my time, yet believes in me and affirms me."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Qasim al-Asadi, and there is agreement on his weakness.
