وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا قَامَ يُصَلِّي جُمِعَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ تَفَرَّقَتْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When a servant stands up to pray, his sins are gathered together and placed upon his neck, and when he bows (in ruku'), they (the sins) fall away."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Marwan bin Salim, who is extremely da'if (weak).
