Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1668

Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim offers prayer, his sins are placed upon his head; whenever he prostrates, they fall away from him. When he finishes his prayer, his sins have already fallen away from him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and al-Bazzar also recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ash'ath bin Ash'ath al-Sa'dani, and I have not found anyone who gives his biography.
