وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " عُقْرُ دَارِ الْإِسْلَامِ بِالشَّامِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Nufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The heartland of the abode of Islam is in Syria (al-Sham)."
