وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ يَئِسَ أَنْ يُعْبَدَ فِي جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ ، وَلَكِنْ قَدْ رَضِيَ بِمُحَقَّرَاتٍ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Satan has despaired of being worshipped in the Arabian Peninsula, but he will be content even with small, trivial things."
