وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ ، وَغِفَارُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "May Allah Almighty keep the tribe of Aslam safe, and may Allah Almighty forgive the people of the tribe of Ghifar."
