وَعَنْ عَوْفٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ الْأَشْهَلِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِمَوَالِي الْأَنْصَارِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Awf al-Ansari al-Ashhali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, forgive the Ansar, the children of the Ansar, the children of the children of the Ansar, and the freed slaves (mawali) of the Ansar."
