بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي حَقِّ الصَّحَابَةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَالزَّجْرِ عَنْ سَبِّهِمْ .

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَكْثُرُونَ وَأَصْحَابِي يَقِلُّونَ ، فَلَا تَسُبُّوهُمْ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ سَبَّهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
"Other people will increase and my Companions will decrease, so do not revile them. May Allah Almighty curse the one who reviles them."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Fadl bin Atiyyah, who is matruk (abandoned).
