وَعَنْ بِنْتِ أَبِي جَهْلٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَسَمَّاهَا جَمِيلَةَ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ زَوْجَ بِنْتِ أَبِي جَهْلٍ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
The daughter of Abu Jahl narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of people is my generation."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and he named this lady Sayyidah Jamilah. The narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy), except that I do not know about this lady's husband.
