بَابٌ فِي وَفَيَاتِ جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَمَوَالِيدِهِمْ ، وَآخِرِ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ - .

وَعَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ : تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ حَرْبٍ لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ مَضَيْنَ مِنْ إِمَارَةِ عُثْمَانَ ، وَكَانَ كُفَّ بَصَرُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَالْهَيْثَمُ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Al-Haytham bin Adi said: Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan bin Harb (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away after 9 years of the caliphate of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) had passed, and Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan bin Harb (may Allah be pleased with him) had lost his sight.
