بَابٌ فِي تَارِكِ الصَّلَاةِ .
One who abandons prayer

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَقَدْ كَفَرَ جِهَارًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، إِلَّا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَاتِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، فَلَا أَدْرِي هُوَ هَذَا أَمْ لَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، إِلَّا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَاتِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، فَلَا أَدْرِي هُوَ هَذَا أَمْ لَا .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever abandons the prayer deliberately has openly committed disbelief."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy, except the narrator Muhammad bin Abi Dawud: I have not found anyone who has given his biography. Ibn Hibban mentioned Muhammad bin Abi Dawud al-Baghdadi in al-Thiqat, and I do not know whether this is the same person or not.
