Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When my eyesight became weak, it was said: "We will treat you; leave the prayer for a few days." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "No! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Whoever abandons the prayer, when he comes before Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty will be angry with him.'" Al-Bazzar, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, recorded it; its chain contains Sahl bin Mahmud, whom Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned, and he said: Ahmad bin Ibrahim al-Dawraqi and Sa'dan bin Yazid narrated from him.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Mukharrimi also narrated from him, and no one has criticised him; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
