بَابٌ فِي وَفَيَاتِ جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَمَوَالِيدِهِمْ ، وَآخِرِ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ - .

عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ : آخِرُ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مَوْتًا بِالْكُوفَةِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، وَبِالْبَصْرَةِ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .

Qatadah said: Of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the last to die in Kufah was Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), and in Basrah, Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him).
