وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِذَا عَرَفَ الْغُلَامُ يَمِينَهُ مِنْ شَمَالِهِ فَمُرُوهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَقَالَ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَقَالَ فِي الصَّغِيرِ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبِيبٍ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَقَالَ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَقَالَ فِي الصَّغِيرِ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبِيبٍ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Khubayb (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a child begins to understand his right from his left, command him to pray."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. In al-Mu'jam al-Awsat he stated that this narration is reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) only with this chain, while in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir he stated that this narration is reported only from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Khubayb (may Allah be pleased with him). Its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir.
