بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ ذَكَرَ لَهُمْ أَسْمَاءَهُمْ ، أَوْ وَفَيَاتِهِمْ ، أَوْ أَنْسَابَهُمْ .

وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ : أَنَّ حُذَيْفَةَ كَانَ أَحَدَ بَنِي عَبْسٍ ، وَكَانَ عِدَادُهُ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مُرْسَلًا ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Al-Zuhri narrates: Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) belonged to Banu Abs, and he is counted among the Ansar.
