بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ ذَكَرَ لَهُمْ أَسْمَاءَهُمْ ، أَوْ وَفَيَاتِهِمْ ، أَوْ أَنْسَابَهُمْ .

عَنْ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ : جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ حَجَرِ بْنِ رِيَابِ بْنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سُوَاةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، وَكُنْيَةُ جَابِرٍ : أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَأُمُّ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ خَلْدَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، أُخْتُ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَجُنَادَةُ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Junadah bin Salm narrates: Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) is the son of Samurah bin Junadah bin Jundub bin Hajar bin Ri'ab bin Habib bin Suwa'ah bin Amir. His kunyah is Abu Abdullah, and the mother of Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) is Khaldah bint Abi Waqqas, the sister of Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him).
Tabarani recorded it; the narrator Junadah was declared thiqah (trustworthy) by Ibn Hibban and da'if (weak) by a group, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
