عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ : أَنَّ أُمَّهُ وَفَدَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي وَفَدْتُ إِلَيْكَ ; لِتَدْعُوَ لِبُنَيَّ هَذَا أَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ بَرَكَةً ، وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَهُ طَيِّبًا كَثِيرًا ، فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْ فَضْلِ وُضُوئِهِ ، فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهَا فِيهِ ، وَاجْعَلْهُ كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .

Sayyiduna Hassan bin Shaddad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that his mother came with a delegation to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have come to you with the delegation so that you may pray for this son of mine, that Allah Almighty grant him blessing and grant him abundant goodness." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution with the leftover water of ablution, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over his face and made this supplication: "O Allah! Bless her in this child, and make this child abundantly good."
