Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16162

It is reported about Sayyiduna Yasir bin Suwayd al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him on a military expedition while his wife was pregnant. She gave birth to a child, and the child's mother carried him to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! This child has been born while his father is away on campaign; please choose a name for him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took the child, passed his blessed hand over him and said: "O Allah! Make their men many, make their hardships few, do not let them fall into need, and do not let their children see hunger." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Name this child 'Musri' (the one who hastens), for he has hastened to Islam; so he is Musri' bin Yasir."
Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a group of narrators whom I do not know.
