وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِأُبَايِعَهُ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَتَعْرِفُنِي ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ ، أَلَمْ تَكُنْ شَرِيكًا لِي فَوَجَدْتُكَ خَيْرَ شَرِيكٍ ; لَا تُدَارِي وَلَا تُمَارِي " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Sa'ib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance to him. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Do you recognise me? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes! Were you not my partner? And I found you the best of partners; you neither deceived nor quarrelled.
