Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16037

Ata' bin Abi Maymunah, the mawla of Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates: A brother of Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed in the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic era), and in retaliation for him he killed seventy people.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Ibrahim bin Ata', who is thiqah (trustworthy).
