وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ : دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ وَرَأْسُ مُعَاوِيَةَ فِي حِجْرِهَا وَهِيَ تُقَبِّلُهُ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " أَتُحِبِّينَهُ ؟ " . فَقَالَتْ : وَمَا لِي لَا أُحِبُّ أَخِي ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُحِبَّانِهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her). At that time the head of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) was in her lap, and Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) was kissing him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her: "Do you love him?" She said: "Why should I not love my brother?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) also love him."
