وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّاسِ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَسْوَدَ مِنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِي رِجَالِهِ خِلَافٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: After the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I have not seen anyone who was a greater leader than Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and there is disagreement about its narrators.
