Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 15895

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The two sons of al-As are believers, and Amr bin al-As will go to Paradise."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir in abridged form with only these words: "Amr will go to Paradise." Imam Ahmad also recorded
this report, but he recorded these words: "Amr and Hisham." The narrators of al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Muhammad bin Amr, and he is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith).
