وَعَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ : دَخَلُوا عَلَى خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ يَعُودُونَهُ ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ : إِنَّهُ لَفِي السِّبَاقِ قَالَ : نَعَمْ وَاللَّهِ أَسْتَعِينُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ مُنْقَطِعٌ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Yunus bin Abi Ishaq said: People came to visit Sayyiduna Khalid bin al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) in his illness, and someone said: He is one of those who go ahead. He said: Yes! By Allah! I will seek help in that regard.
