وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ : مَا عَدَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِي وَبِخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ أَحَدًا مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْنَا فِي حَرْبِهِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Ever since we accepted Islam, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not regard anyone as equal to me and Khalid bin al-Walid in matters of war.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
