وَعَنِ الْوَاقِدِيِّ قَالَ : مَاتَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا - سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَسَبْعِينَ ، وَدُفِنَ بِفَخٍّ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعٍ وَثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .
Al-Waqidi said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) passed away in the year 74 AH. He was buried at "Fakhkh", and at that time he was 84 years old.
