Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1582

Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Jibril came to me but did not come in. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: Why are you not coming in? He replied: We do not enter any house in which there is an image or urine."
Abdullah bin Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin Khalid, on whose being da'if (weak) the hadith scholars agree. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Hadiths about the incident of the man who urinated in the mosque will come later, and those hadiths will come in "Kitab al-Salah (The Book of Prayer)".
