وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ لِيُبَارِي عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي عِبَادَتِهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْهَجَرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ مَعَ ضَعْفِهِ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Dharr resembles Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him) in his worship."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim al-Hajari, and he is da'if (weak); and along with his weakness, the narrator Ibrahim did not reach the time of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
