عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي الْخَزْرَجِ : أَبُو الْيُسْرِ : كَعْبُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ غُنْمِ بْنِ [ سَوَادُ بْنُ غُنْمِ بْنِ ] كَعْبِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ إِلَى ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثِقَاتٌ .
Muhammad bin Ishaq, among the names of those who took part in the Battle of Badr, mentioned Sayyiduna Abu al-Yusr Ka'b bin Amr bin Abbad bin Amr bin Ghanm bin Sawad bin Ghanm bin Ka'b bin Salimah bin Ali from Banu al-Khazraj, a branch of the Ansar.
