Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of Hudaybiyah the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave me (that is, let me do it)." Then he took the sacrificial animal, went and sacrificed it (or as the narrators described it). Sayyiduna al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) said: No! By Allah! We will not be like the group of the Children of Israel who said to Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him): You and your Lord go and both of you fight; we are sitting right here. (Sayyiduna al-Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Rather, we will say:) You and your Lord go and fight; we will take part in the fighting along with you both. (The narrator says:) Then he sacrificed the sacrificial animal at Hudaybiyah. Qatadah narrates: At that time they had seventy camels with them.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
