Majma al-Zawaid 15647 — The virtue of Amir bin Rabi'ah
قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، وَكَانَ مِنْ كُبَرَاءِ بَنِي عَدِيٍّ ، وَكَانَ أَبُوهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Al-Zuhri narrates: The son of Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated a hadith to me, and he (the son) was one of the leading men of Banu Adi, and his father had the honour of taking part in the Battle of Badr.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
