وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : دَعَا لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " نِعْمَ تُرْجُمَانُ الْقُرْآنِ أَنْتَ " . وَدَعَا لِي جِبْرِيلُ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - مَرَّتَيْنِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خِرَاشٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for me and said: You are an excellent interpreter of the Qur'an! Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him) also supplicated for me twice.
