Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 15439

Sayyidah Sallamah bint al-Hurr (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: In the early days of Islam the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me while I was grazing goats. He said: O Sallamah, what do you bear witness to? I said: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah Almighty, and that Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. At this the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Umm Dawud al-Wabishiyyah, and I do not know her. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
