قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ : حَلِيمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي ذُؤَيْبٍ، وَاسْمُ أَبِي ذُؤَيْبٍ: عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ مِنْ بَنِي سَعْدِ بْنِ بَكْرِ بْنِ هَوَازِنَ ، وَهِيَ أُمُّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الَّتِي أَرْضَعَتْهُ وَفَصَلَتْهُ .
Imam al-Tabarani states: Sayyidah Halimah bint Abi Dhu'ayb (may Allah be pleased with her); Abu Dhu'ayb's name is Abdullah, and he is the son of al-Harith bin Hayyan, from Banu Sa'd bin Bakr bin Hawazin. She is the nursing mother of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who suckled him and weaned him.
