وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ فَقَالَ : " تَقْعُدُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا ، ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ طُهْرٍ ، ثُمَّ تَحْتَشِي وَتُصَلِّي " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Fatimah bint Qays (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the woman with istihadah (irregular bleeding). He said: "She will refrain (from prayer) during the specific days of her menstruation, and then, at the time of purity, she will take the ritual bath (ghusl), bind a cloth, and pray."
