عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَقَلُّ الْحَيْضِ ثَلَاثٌ ، وَأَكْثَرُهُ عَشْرٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، لَا نَدْرِي مَنْ هُوَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، لَا نَدْرِي مَنْ هُوَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The minimum period of menstruation is three days, and the maximum is ten days."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain states that Abd al-Malik al-Kufi narrated it from al-Ala' bin Kathir. We do not know who he is.
