وَعَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لَهُ : هَلْ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تُحْسِنُ الْفَرَائِضَ ؟ قَالَ : وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ مَشْيَخَةَ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَسْأَلُونَهَا عَنِ الْفَرَائِضِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
It is reported about Masruq that he was asked: "Did Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) also know the science of inheritance?" He said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul! I have seen the elders among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asking Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) about the rulings of inheritance."
