وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : لَمَّا رُمِيتُ بِمَا رُمِيتُ بِهِ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُلْقِيَ نَفْسِي فِي قَلِيبٍ . رَوَاهُ [الْبَزَّارُ] الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُمَا ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When that accusation was made against me, I resolved to throw myself into a pit.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and the narrators of both are thiqat (trustworthy).
